Excerpts (verbatim) from the final verdict of Priyadarshini Mattoo case establishing motive behind the murder:
Why the accused went to this extent agitates the mind? Why the accused was after the deceased?... The good conscious directs that it was intended to put pressure upon the deceased so that the accused may have her. And the deceased should not resist his action in any manner. Either by requesting the University authorities or the Police authorities and should not press for the actions initiated by her on account of harassment meted out to her at the hands of the accused and thus ultimately the accused may have her even against her wishes... The complaint by the accused (against Priya) was counterblast to the resistive action of the deceased in not succumbing to designs of the accused which were intended to harass her... The accused according to the personalities as understood in science of Psychology falls in the category of tough minded people... The acts of the accused lead to the inference that the accused had the motive to have the deceased at all event and failing to not to allow her to be of any body else...

To get justice should be our single point agenda and if we are honest and sincere in our efforts there is not an Iota of doubt in my mind for the sucess of this mission but my only fear is a sell out.Last time around i.e 1967 D.P wisky sold us out and see what we have lost our home and hearth and this time there is again no dearth of such men and one such person is lurking around in the power center and is part of the kitchen cabinet.I don't want to sound a defeatist but only a word of CAUTION.
we are not "trusting" anyone in any power center, so the question of any "sell-out" doesn't arise. all of us are student volunteers and young working professionals with no affiliations to any political group.

what i don't understand is - how do ppl justify doing something like this to themselves??
this man should be killed slowly by poisoning. i don't mean to be barbaric but it is obviously a fitting death sentence
Such people are a curse on this earth. Society should boycott him and his family and those who helped him in getting away scot free from his crime. Those working in judiciary should boycott this criminal. How can they tolerate him in a court of law to appear on behalf of someone for getting justice when he himself is a criminal.
It is very disheartening to know that accused inspite of having the dot truth that he is the culprit ,was scott free by the court.
May our system open up its eyes as early as possible.And give relief to the diceased soul.
I have many sexual desires on women. The only help I can do is, I'll start changing my self and stop others to think bad about women, for a healthy society.
