How can you help?

These are some of the things that we need to do; you can be a help in any one or more of these:

1) We need to flare this cause up as much as we can in the media - India or outside India.

2) We need people to suggest us slogans, ideas for banners/posters.

3) We need to make sure all possible organizations (particularly in Delhi) come out extending massive support for the protest rally. These could be Womens' Rights Organizations, Human Rights Organizations, Residents' Welfare Associations, Social Organizations, NGOs etc.

4) Promote the rally/appeal/petition as much as we can. Spread the word like wild fire among all Indians. SMS campaigns, calls to radio stations etc. can be of help. That can create a snowball effect.

5) We need tens of highly dedicated and motivated volunteers in Delhi.

6) We need people all over the country to write to their local media - TV/print, and protest in ingenious ways. For example, by honking at 4:30p.m. (time of the protest rally) anywhere in the country on Sunday 23rd July, 2006 or wearing a black ribbon around your fore-arm on Monday 24th July, 2006 as a mark of continuing agitation!

7) We will need financial help too. Right now, we do NOT have an organizational account. We will have an organizational account very soon.

Thanks

justice4priyadarshini

We welcome/encourage any individual or organization to step forward and support us in this cause; country, color, region, religion, socio-political views etc. are no barriers.

justice delayed is justice denied In our country, women r potrayed as laxmi, devi,we even worship them but when a moment arise when a culprit is caught some political influence or money, power ,justice is brutally ignored.when rapist,a murderer is left scot free, he will destroy the evidences and will be leaving a message to do the same for others like minded. Our law needs to be upgraded,to protect thegirl and her family, and her dignityand punishment of rape should be death only.

Rape and murder are crimes against humanity and God. Any civlized society will not reat in peace till the ctiminals are punished. It is a blot on Indian society and the people that Priyadarshini's murderer is roaming free, and is in the same profession which he has violated to get free.

I am a senior citizen and work as an Advisor on Management Systems. I also run a NGO - "Beterlife For All", committed to betterlife for all the people. I fully support this movement for ensuring justice for her.

This is not something we would like to happen time & again, Jessica, many more & now Priyadarshini's case. Our own CBI is the main culprit here, ask the officilas if something happens to their own family members, how would they feel. Every body of the Judiciary system in India is rusted today, people lets raise our voices against this till the time justice is given.

this is the right step which students of DU are taking to lighten up the case once again.yes the regime for priyadarshini should go on untill she gets the full justice.not only her, every victims case should be thrown in front and the criminals should not be sentenced for just seven years, they should be sentenced for death.god bless all those victims who have gone through the brutality of criminals

It is really unfortnate. One is ashamed to be part of such a social order where in criminals can move freely with connivance of law makers and its enforcers.

thst very true...
we all need to fight aginst the injustice....
i wish i had the power to punish all such criminals......if that would have been the case i would have opted for a life time imprisonment....or even worst...cause even the death sentence kind of punishmenst r not sufficeient 4 such ppl.......i wish this time India doesnt fail...
in givin justice to women.....

we all need to fight against all such crimes...or else this place called India will lose its sanctity.....and all moral values....
India will never stay the same...!!!
